We are preppers, and what was missing was a compact durable shovel. I purchased this for our prepping, and I was very impressed with how well and durable this is made. First it comes with a handy pouch that you can attach to your backpack, or even belt loop. It folds up very easy, without struggle. It opens very easy, and stays open while you dig. The ips is pointy which helps dig in harder dirt, also the side of the shovel have edges which helps with roots that get in the way. This is a great tool to have, works great also if your a camper or even a trail walker. Thumbs up from me.
