This is not your grandmother's rolling pin, the old fashion wooden ones.  This is such a great item, it really does a great job rolling out dough.  I rolls very easy and smooth.  You do not get all that dough stuck all over it, I lightly floured and it worked great on my homemade biscuits. It is very well made, and has a nice length, very easy to use.  When you apply pressure is does a great job evening out the dough quickly. I  purchased this rolling pin at a nice discounted price if I was to give my trustworthy opinion of how well this works and if I am satisfied.  I would  like to say I would recommend this to my friends, family and my followers
